In the last 2 years I have spent near enough 21 months away from home. Travelling and living abroad is amazing, however there’s nothing like coming home.
Home for me is possibly the most unknown area in South East London, Thamesmead. Falling under the Royal Borough of Greenwich the area is constantly evolving. Greenwich itself is amazing and at this festive time of year absolutely stunning. The area has a great mixture of old and new; housing not only The Queens house but also, the National Maritime museum, the Royal observatory as well as the Cutty Sark and the O2. There is actually so much here that there really is no wondering why this place attracts tons of visitors every year.
Coming home this time I feel so much has changed (or maybe it is just me that has changed- who knows!) yet all the amazing memories are still present; and nevertheless its still home and I love it!
However with just 6 weeks left until my next venture; I better make the most of it.
